Please join us Maine voters and vote “Yes” on Question 2. As a Cape Elizabeth resident I am compelled to support this common-sense measure. Keep firearms out of the hands of those who might abuse them.

With the Extreme Risk Protection Orders a family can go directly to a court should a loved one be in crisis and temporarily prevent this person, whom a court finds dangerous, from accessing deadly weapons.

Think about our children in school, the Lewiston mass shooting, suicide and mental health issues. Please vote “Yes” on Question 2 to intervene before a moment of crisis becomes a tragedy.
