
Lorena T. Paquette
AUGUSTA – Lorena T. Paquette, 94, died Monday, Sept. 29, 2025, at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta following a brief illness. She was born in Eagle Lake, Maine on May 25, 1931, a daughter of the late Willard J. and Dora R. (White) Clavette.
Mrs. Paquette was a graduate of Cony High School and was a communicant of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church and, more recently, St. Augustine Catholic Church.
She had been employed at Digital Equipment Corp. and previously worked at the University of Maine at Augusta and Depositor’s Trust.
Mrs. Paquette was a member of the Cushnoc Senior Citizens and the Pine Cone Reelers.
She was predeceased by her sister, Pauline M. Clavette.
Mrs. Paquette is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Wallace W. Paquette, Jr. of Augusta; her sons, Gregory J. Paquette and his wife Nicole of Bennington, Vt. and Kevin J. Paquette of Standish, her daughter, Luanne M. Turner and her husband Alden of Windham; four grandchildren, Nicholle Johnson of Magnolia, Del., Hillary Staples of Chesapeake, Va., Ethan Turner of Cross Lanes, WV, and Andrea Nelson of Steep Falls, Maine; and three great grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no public visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Ave., Augusta. Burial and committal prayers will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Townsend Rd., Augusta.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME.
