The Varsity Maine volleyball poll has finally calmed down and remains mostly the same as last week. The biggest changes are Cheverus/Waynflete moving up three spots to fifth after three nice wins, and Kennebunk joining the top 10 at No. 8.

Voters weren’t too swayed by Gorham’s 3-0 win over Thornton Academy last Tuesday, as the Golden Trojans remain third — well, tied for third with Scarborough this week — and even received a first-place vote. The Rams moved from seventh to sixth.

Washington Academy is ranked No. 1 for the fourth straight week.

The Varsity Maine volleyball poll is based on games played before Oct. 7, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
