Scarborough and Falmouth remain first and second, respectively, in the Varsity Maine boys soccer poll for the second week in a row. However, everything changed behind them in this week’s rankings.

A win over last week’s No. 4 (Brunswick) and a tie with last week’s No. 3 (Camden Hills) moved Lewiston from fifth to third. The Windjammers are now fourth after falling to Greely, which jumped up a spot to fifth, where it is tied with Gorham, which was seventh last week.

A big win over Caribou impressed the voters enough to move John Bapst into the poll at No. 9.

The Varsity Maine boys soccer poll is based on games played before Oct. 7, 2025. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
