Gabrielle Vachon scored in overtime, lifting the Cony field hockey tam to a 2-1 win over Leavitt on Thursday in Augusta.
Carlee Libby gave Leavitt (7-3-1) a 1-0 lead in the second quarter. Helen Dineen tied it for Cony (6-5) with an assist from Casey Monson in the third quarter.
Courtney Ramage had 11 saves for Cony, while Leavitt’s Riley Miller made three saves.
BOYS SOCCER
BUCKFIELD 3, RICHMOND 1: Krosby Harvey scored two goals, and the Bucks (7-3-1) beat the Bobcats (4-6-1) in Buckfield.
Aaron Smith added a goal, while Evan St. Pierre had two assists. Buckfield keeper Neil Haylock made eight saves.
Sullivan McDaniel scored for Richmond.
GIRLS SOCCER
MARANACOOK 7, LEAVITT 0: Alice Ferran and Evelyn Stevenson each scored two goals to lead the Black Bears (10-1) to a win over the Hornets (4-5-1) in Readfield.
Phoebe Bell, Cooper Davis and Caroline Harper each added a goal.
RICHMOND 2, BUCKFIELD 1: Aubrey Swift scored both goals for the Bobcats (11-0) in a win over the Bucks in Buckfield (8-3).
