
Daniel Scott Nile
ANSON – Daniel Scott Nile, 46, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. He was born in Farmington on Dec. 12, 1978, the son of Danny Nile and Mona Ann (Reckards) Farrington. He attended and graduated from Carrabec High School in 1998.
Daniel owned and operated his business Fourth Generation Logging. He enjoyed traveling with the love of his life Jen. He took pride in making his land into what he called home. He loved mud running, fishing, camping, anything that involved family and friends. Daniel was always known for being the life of a party and always wearing his contagious grin.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Jennifer Nile of Anson; his father Dan Nile and wife Ellie of North Anson; mother Mona Farrington and husband David Farrington of Jay; two daughters Lynsey Nile of Anson and Taylor Nile of Kingfield; three brothers. David Farrington of Sabattus, Travis Yahn of Anson, and Eddie Yahn of Anson; a sister Brittany Nile of North
Anson; three grandsons, Carson and Brantley Flanagin of Anson, and Waylon Pinkham of Kingfield; and his beloved dog Haggard
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Norma Nile; maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Reckards; brother Craig Nile; and his beloved dog Waylon.
