The Trump and MAGA agenda is unpopular. Donald Trump and his MAGA supporters are set to take a beating in next year’s midterm elections. Their response is not to change course but to disrupt the elections through voter suppression.
Maine is consistently number one or two in voter turnout with zero evidence of voter fraud.
Absentee voting plays a significant role in ensuring this high turnout. High levels of voter participation are a threat to the MAGA agenda. Question 1 on November’s ballot is a naked
attempt by the MAGA crowd, dressed up as a “voter ID” issue, to cripple absentee voting. It is a
wolf in sheep’s clothing.
To reject this attempt to undermine what is one of the most secure and successful electoral
systems in the U.S., and to keep Maine at the top of the voting leagues, vote “No” on
Question 1.
