It appears to me that this year’s Maine ballot Question 1 is trying to fix a problem that doesn’t exist. There hasn’t ever been — to my knowledge — an instance of actual voter/election fraud in Maine. Yet Trump’s minions — like Rep. Laurel Libby — are shouting loudly that it is an issue.
I stand with the nonpartisan Maine League of Women Voters, which, wisely in my opinion, does not want to make voting more difficult in Maine.
