As our all-too-short golf season begins to wind down, kudos are in order to all of the staff at Portland Parks and Recreation — in particular to course manager Ryan Scott, course superintendent Matt Teneyck and the on-site staff at Riverside Golf Course for another year of exceptional golf.
While there have been minor inconveniences during renovations to the South Course, all 27 holes of both the North and South courses have been meticulously maintained over a very difficult, dry summer. The renovations ongoing at the South Course, now close to completion, will improve an already beautiful and challenging layout.
Riverside is a recreational amenity that any small world-class city would be thrilled to have. Thanks to all who make it work for us.
