I joined more than 1,000 people at the No Kings rally in Rockland with a sign saying “We’re Here Because We Love Our Country.” I began to ask people to sign on to the sentiment. Soon they were lining up, enthusiastic to be asked.
Everyone I approached signed. I collected 262 signatures, as many as I could reach in the crowd. A wonderful and heart-stirring day. Are you paying attention, Mike Johnson?
