Lisbon’s Aubriana Bright scored the tying goal in the fourth quarter and the game winner in overtime to give the Greyhounds a 2-1 victory over Boothbay in the Mountain Valley Conference field hockey championship game Thursday in Winthrop.
Lisbon entered the fourth period trailing 1-0. The teams played to a 0-0 draw in their lone regular season meeting Sept. 24, and they were still scoreless through two-plus quarters Thursday before Boothbay’s Natalie Flagg ended the stalemate with a third-quarter goal.
Greyhounds goalie Sophie Cote stopped four shots.
The Seahawks will be the top seed in the Class C South playoffs. Lisbon, which won its final seven regular season games, is the No. 2 seed.
