
The Maine Celtics acquired forward Stefan Todorovic in a trade and made two second-round picks in the NBA G League draft on Saturday.
Maine sent a 2027 first-round pick to Motor City in the deal for Todorovic, a native of Belgrade, Serbia. Motor City selected Todorovic with the seventh overall pick.
Todorovic started 35 games during his senior season at Pepperdine, leading the Waves in scoring with 18.5 points per game. He also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 assists. He also played one season at San Francisco and two seasons at Southern Methodist.
Todorovic played four games in the NBA Summer League with the Philadelphia 76ers.
In the second round of the draft, the Celtics selected forward Vance Johnson with the 41st pick and Nicolas Timberlake with the 54th selection.
Jackson, 28, played in one game for Raptors 905 last season and six games for the Salt Lake City Stars in 2023-24. A guard from Towson University, he averaged 17.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists as a college senior in 2022-23. Last season, he played in the United Kingdom.
Maine opens the season Nov. 7 at the Greensboro Swarm. The home opener is against the Long Island Nets on Nov. 14.
