Anne Marie Boucher

AUGUSTA / PALMETTO, Fla. – Anne Marie Boucher, 74, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 20, 2025.

Anne was born in Augusta to Leo and Muriel (Melanson) Levesque, graduated from Cony High School in 1969, and married Yvon Boucher in 1970. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in April.

Originally working at Cottle’s, where they both met, Anne and Yvon owned Boucher’s Market in Augusta for many years, and she went on to work for Fleet Bank, Bank of America and retired from Camden National Bank. After retirement, they moved to Florida where they spent the last 10 years enjoying summer year-round, meeting new friends, hosting family and friends from the north, and visiting the many beaches on the Gulf coast. They moved back to Maine in May to spend more time closer to family and friends.

Anne is survived by her best friend and husband, Yvon; daughter, Jane and husband, Jeff Whitley, and son, Eric Boucher and wife, Amy. Anne was the proud “Nan” and “NuNu” to five beautiful grandchildren, Brooke Whitley Warren (and husband, Caleb), Jake Whitley (and fiancé, Julianna Hubbard), and Grace, Connor, and Sophia Boucher; and a great-grandmother to Will and Wyatt Warren.

Anne is survived by her sister, Gloria and husband, Fred Farrington, sister, Lisa Cunningham, and brother, Marc Levesque and wife, Kate, sister-in-law, Nicole and husband, Emile Beaudoin, brother-in-law, Michael Boucher and wife, Wanda, and brother-in-law, Larry Boucher and wife, Ellen. She will be truly missed by many friends and aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at Le Club Calumet, Augusta, on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come dressed in bright, casual clothing, and join us for lunch at noon and to share stories, photos, memories, and laughter in honor of Anne.
