OAKLAND – Melissa (Stephens) Crandall passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Melissa worked in customer service for T-Mobile in Oakland for the past 18 years. She had a deep passion for singing, dancing, being a mom, and above all God. Her love for her sons was endless; they were her whole world. Melissa was such a kind, loving, passionate, and caring person. Her love for all was unconditional and never ending.

Melissa was so full of life and would brighten up any room that she walked into. Her smile and laugh were contagious. She loved animals, the color pink, making people happy, and taking pictures of everyone and everything that she cared about.

Melissa is survived by her husband, Joshua Crandall; her sons Ashton and Logan Toothaker, and Joshua Crandall Jr.; her parents Charles Stephens, Sandra Hinkley and Ronnie Hinkley.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
