MANCHESTER – Robert C. Dill, 75, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, with family by his side. He was born on Oct. 3, 1950, the son of Shirley and Carroll Dill
Robert worked at The Statler Mill in Augusta for 25 years and at the Senator Inn and Spa for eight years. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, and metal detecting. Robert also enjoyed New England sports, especially the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
Robert was predeceased by his mother, father; sister; and stepdaughter, Stephanie Patenaude.
Robert leaves behind his partner, Sandra Patenaude; and granddaughter, Kayleigh Patenaude; stepdaughter, Stacey Shields and partner Paul Smith of Winthrop, stepson, Ronald Gagne and his wife Melissa of Nevada; grandchildren, Nicholas Shields and husband Jacob, Elizabeth, Izabella, Aliza Gagne, and his world Kayleigh.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Augusta Center for Health and Rehabilitation, where Robert was under the care of Constellation Hospice Care, for the care and compassion they showed to Robert and his family.
At his request, there will be no public visiting hours. A private service will be held at a later date.
