It is critical that everyone in the world knows that the protests and demonstrations erupting across the country are peaceful. This Republican administration is attempting to paint them as violent riots, but the only “proof” they present is videos that are decades old.

Overwhelmingly, the violence is being instigated by ICE — teargassing, shooting and arresting peaceful protesters in Chicago, Portland, Oregon, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. — in order to prompt violence in return. It has not worked, and anyone claiming that these are “riots” is either intentionally lying or passing on unsubstantiated rumors and should not be trusted.
