 
Robert Scott Harriman
RICHMOND – Robert Scott Harriman, born on Dec. 26, 1940, passed away on Oct. 26, 2025, at the age of 84. A resident of Richmond, Robert was known for his humorous, hard-working, kind-hearted, and gentle nature.
Robert grew up in Lisbon and attended Lisbon schools. He dedicated 40 years of his life working as a crane operator for Bath Iron Works, where he was admired for his dedication and skill.
Robert was married to Claire Wentworth of Richmond, with whom he raised two children in Lisbon. Claire passed away in 1991. Later, he married Joanne Sproul of Bangor, who predeceased him in 2020.
Robert had a passion for Chevy trucks, NASCAR racing, cutting the grass, and watching westerns. His great sense of humor and love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were central to his life.
He is survived by his son, Jeffrey S. Harriman (Belisa); his grandchildren Killian C. Harriman (Angelica), Cameron J. Harriman, Christopher M. Harriman, and Ciara N. Harriman; and his great-grandchildren Evanna, Liam, and Owen. He is also survived by his brother, Gary Harriman, and his sisters, Susan Foster, Louise Stickney, and Tina Chase (Dale); and several nieces and nephews. Robert was predeceased by his son, Gregory E. Harriman.
The family expresses their gratitude to the family of Doug Chadbourne, his neighbors, Ann Carter, his home health aide, and CHANS Hospice Services for their support and care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, from 3 – 4 p.m. at Crosman Funeral Home, 40 Main St, Lisbon Falls, ME A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Robert will be laid to rest at Hillside Cemetery in Lisbon.
