Lynden McCallum scored his first three goals of the season during a five-goal second period that propelled the Maine Mariners to an 8-1 win over the Worcester Railers in an ECHL game Saturday night in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Xavier Lamppa added two goals, Linus Helmstrom, Jacob Hudson and Jaxon Bellamy also scored, and Robert Cronin had three assists as the Mariners won by at least four goals for the fifth time in nine games this season. Maine began the night tied for first place in the North Division.
Mariners goalie Brad Arvanitis made 25 saves.
