Lucille A. Brillant

AUGUSTA – Lucille A. Brillant, born March 6, 1943, passed away Nov. 10, 2025, after a six year stay at Glenridge Nursing Home in Augusta.

Lucille was the daughter of the late Jean and Regina (Bosse) Aube of Augusta. She spent her life in the Augusta area attending Cony High School and later working in the Bates Manufacturing Mill as a weaver. After many years at the mill, she became a Dental Assistant with Dr. Ray Pateneau until she retired in 2002.

Lucille enjoyed gardening, including helping her husband, Ronnie, with the many blueberry bushes at their home on West River Road. She and Ronnie enjoyed travelling, singing and dancing, outings with their friends, and raising their two children.

Lucille leaves behind her loving husband of 65 years, Ronnie Brillant of Topsham; her son Allen Brillant and family of Augusta; and her daughter Rhonda Poirier and family of Sidney, Maine.

Ronnie thanks the staff of Glenridge for their care of Lucille over the last six years. It was comforting to know she was compassionately cared for daily.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 18, at St. Augustine Church, 75 Northern Ave., Augusta. Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Augusta. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta, ME 04330. Condolences, stories, and photos may be shared by visiting http://www.plummerfh.com.
