Max Shulga led a balanced offense with 22 points, and the Maine Celtics picked up their first NBA G League victory of the season Friday night by winning their home opener against the Long Island Nets, 116-92.
All five Maine starters scored in double figures. Amari Williams had 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks. Ron Harper Jr. finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds, Kendall Brown also scored 15 points, and Jalen Bridges and Stefan Todorovic each had 11.
Danny Wolf led Long Island with 22 points.
The teams play again Saturday night at the Expo.
