Ron Harper Jr. capped a career-high 46-point performance by hitting a short jumper in the lane with 1.1 seconds remaining, lifting the Maine Celtics to a 113-111 win Friday night against the Delaware Blue Coats at the Portland Expo.

Maine scored the final nine points after trailing 111-104 with less than three minutes to go. Harper tied the game with a bank shot in the lane with 1:05 remaining.

An offensive foul on Delaware’s Johnni Broome set the stage for Harper’s winning shot. Jalen Bridges then blocked Kennedy Chandler’s layup attempt at the buzzer.

Harper also had eight assists and seven rebounds. He was 16 of 26 from the field and 7 of 14 from 3-point range.

Bridges and Max Shulga each scored 17 points, and Amari Williams grabbed 15 rebounds.
