I feel really badly about the fact that so many people are homeless. There’s something very wrong with our society today. The homeless have no voice; someone has to speak for them. How would I or anyone feel if we were in their place? I praise everyone who, together, provides them with food clothing and shelter.
Human beings need affordable homes of their own, jobs, food, clothing, medical care, in order to have a sense of well-being about themselves. I’m not talking about privileges here but human rights. When are we going to evolve as human beings, realizing that we are all one, all created equal and responsible for each other?
I stand on the Longley Bridge with many others every Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. We stand for justice. All are welcome to join us. Together we can make a difference.
