Tracy Ann Hussey
WINSLOW – Tracy Ann Hussey, 77, passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on May 20, 1948 in Waterville, Maine, the beloved daughter of Doris Hussey (Reynolds) and Forrest Hussey.
Raised in Winslow, she was the second of seven children and enjoyed summers at their family camp on Snow Pond. She attended Winslow High School where she was active in field hockey, basketball, and other activities before graduating in 1966.
In her working years, she was a legal secretary, a print shop manager, a graphic artist and a certified nursing assistant. She also had her own woodworking business making puzzles, toys and personalized coat racks.
Tracy lived a life defined by creativity, resilience, and silent generosity. She had a gift for bringing beauty and joy into the world. As a lifelong crafter, she could take the simplest materials and turn them into something meaningful. She found peace on the water while fishing, and excitement in the fun of stock trading.
Tracy is survived by her three children, who were the pride of her life, and two step-children: daughters Christina Cloutier and her husband Peter of Greene, Catherine Brown and her fiancé Brandon of Buckfield, son John “Randy” Brown of Livermore Falls, step-daughter Susan Hovey and step-son Sean Chesser both of Florida. She is also survived by her beloved partner David C. Poulin, and siblings Suzon Morrison, Erin Dyer and her husband Scott, Patrick Hussey, and Peter Hussey and his wife Verna; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Michael, sister Kelly Pearson, and husband Herbert Chesser.
Tracy’s legacy continues through her cherished grandsons Josh Ellis and Tave, Traeh, Talen and Tarek Cloutier; and one great- granddaughter, West Bennett Ellis.
She will be remembered for her fierce independence, her strong will and the unique way she lived life on her own terms. May her beautiful spirit rest in eternal peace.
As per her wishes there will be no services.
