Faith Adele Gould

BRUNSWICK – Faith Adele Gould, 94 years old, formerly of Richmond and Augusta, died peacefully of complications of heart failure on Nov. 27, 2025. Born on July 6, 1931 in Hallowell, she was the only daughter of Homer Longfellow Gould and Dulcie Adelaide Crommett Gould.

Throughout her life she was a trusted care taker of the children of her family and friends. Faith said many times that she always wanted to be a nurse as she loved helping people. An avid crafter, Faith did tole painting, liquid embroidery and knitted afghans. Her biggest joys were Christmas and generously giving to others.

She was predeceased by her parents; and brother, George Crommett Gould, sister-in-law, Lorraine Althea Glazier Gould; and her nephew, Mark Glazier Gould.

Faith is survived by her nephews David Gould of Jay; Alan Gould, his wife Elaine and their children Callum, Liam and Catriona Gould, all of Freeport; and her niece, Linda Gould of South China; as well as many cousins in Maine, Nevada and California.

There will be no visiting hours. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, at 11 a.m., at Plummer Funeral Home, 16 Pleasant St., Augusta. Burial will be in the spring with five generations of her family at Branch Mills Cemetery in South China.
