Lawrence A. Tibbetts Jr.
AUGUSTA – Lawrence A. Tibbetts Jr. “Timmy,” 73, of John Marvin Towers in Augusta, made his journey to Heaven with family and friends by his side. He was born in Suffern, N.Y., to the late Lawrence Arthur Tibbetts Sr. and Marjorie Harvey Tripp.
Lawrence’s younger years included spending summers at Pine Tree Camp in Rome. He worked at many nursing homes as a prep cook and loved his stocking job at Reny’s in Gardiner.
In addition to his parents, Lawrence was predeceased by his brothers Jack Vogel Jr. and Joel Tripp.
He is survived by his son, Troy D. Tibbetts; sisters Lynda Martin and Mary Read, brothers James Vogel and Darren Vogel and their spouses; along with several nieces and nephews.
A spring service will be held with family and friends.
The family wishes to sent a heartfelt thank you for the love and care from Mount Joseph at Waterville for their love and care to Lawrence in his final days.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Knowlton & Hewins Funeral Home and Cremation Care, One Church Street, Augusta.
