Stuart Knowlton and Wyatt Bennett each scored 15 points as Mount View opened its boys basketball season Thursday night with a 67-24 victory at Waterville.
The Mustangs led 16-7 after one quarter, then held Waterville scoreless in the second quarter as they stretched their margin to 29-7.
Collin Fletcher paced Waterville with eight points.

MOUNT VIEW 58, WATERVILLE 22: Madison Bennett scored 20 of her 21 points in the first half, sparking the Mustangs to a win over the Panthers in Thorndike.
Lily Parsons added 14 points, all but one in the first half.
Danikah Harrison led Waterville with eight points.
MARANACOOK 42, WINTHROP 25: Jackie Clark paced the Black Bears with 14 points in a season-opening win in Winthrop.
Gracie Farrell added nine points.
Evelyn Mortimer led Winthrop with seven points.
