Amari Williams posted a triple-double with 10 points, 13 rebounds and a career-high 11 assists, while the Maine Celtics’ defense held their opponent to under 100 points for the fourth straight time in a 118-95 victory over the College Park Skyhawks on Sunday at the Portland Expo.
The Celtics (8-3) earned their eighth straight win to match the longest winning streak in franchise history. Maine also improved to 6-0 at home.
Jalen Bridges finished with a team-high 20 points for the Celtics. Teammate Keon Johnson scored 17 points off the bench, while Kendall Brown added 1 5 points and Max Shulga 14. Maine shot 49.5% (45 for 91) from the floor as a team and 38.2% (13 for 34) from 3-point range.
Caleb Houstan scored a game-high 21 points for College Park (4-7).
