Jack Flaherty made four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points, and Winslow closed with a 14-2 run to earn a 45-33 win over Waterville in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference boys basketball game Tuesday in Waterville.

Noah Harding added 12 points and Carter Calvo had 10 for Winslow (3-2).

Derek Couture scored 10 points for Waterville (0-4).

VALLEY 83, FOREST HILLS 36: Fisher Tewksbury paced the Cavaliers (5-0) with 25 points in a win over the Tigers (4-1) in Bingham.

Harry Louis finished with 16 points, while Levi Short scored 14 and Collin Nichols had 11.

Aaden Nadeau and Jaxson Desjardins each scored 12 points for Forest Hills.

MARANACOOK 84, OAK HILL 40: Gage Mattson scored 23 points and Jack Fontaine added 20 to lead the Black Bears (5-0) over the Raiders (1-2) in Readfield.

Grady Hreben chipped in with 13 points.

Keeghan Morrissette paced Oak Hill with 12 points, while Braden New scored 10.

BRUNSWICK 78, GARDINER 45: Rylan Ley poured in 31 points as the Dragons (3-1) knocked off the Tigers (3-1) in Brunswick.

Brunswick also got 14 points from Logan Gray. The Dragons led 23-10 after one quarter and blew it open in the second half.

Tracy Moody led Gardiner with 14 points, making four 3-pointers.

MT. BLUE 48, MT. ARARAT 27: Oliver Cormier scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half as the Cougars (3-1) pulled away from the Eagles (1-3) in Topsham.

After a low-scoring first half ended with Mt. Blue up 13-7, Cormier sparked an 18-6 third-quarter surge with nine points.

Evan Drake added 13 points for the Cougars.

Logan Zoulamis was the only Mt. Ararat player with more than two points. He finished with 15.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

VALLEY 89, FOREST HILLS 36: Kirsten Bigelow scored 32 points and the Cavaliers (5-0) cruised to a Class S win over the Tigers (5-1) in Bingham.

Liana Hartwell and Delia Hill both scored 20 points for Valley.

Janessa Moffitt and Kelsey Rancourt each tallied 11 points for Forest Hills.

CONY 66, LEAVITT 30: Rylin Miller paced a balanced attack with 16 points for the Rams (2-2) in a win over the Hornets (2-3) in Turner.

Kya Douin added 15 points, Gabby Vachon had 12 and Khloe Price 10.

Gabby Smith scored 10 points for Leavitt.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 71, RICHMOND 16: Kaitlyn Frost scored 31 points and the Mustangs (2-2) cruised to a win over the Bobcats (1-3) in Monmouth.

Eliza Armandi added 10 points.

Kaylynn Brilliant scored eight points for Richmond.
