Irene (Aube) Patterson
WATERVILLE – Irene (Aube) Patterson, born on Dec. 31, 1931, in Westbrook, passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2025, at the age of 93. Irene is resting with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Irene lived a long and meaningful life marked by resilience, kindness, and quiet strength. She witnessed nearly a century of change and met each chapter with grace. Those who knew her remember her as a steady presence—thoughtful, caring, and deeply devoted to the Lord. Her warmth left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Irene was predeceased by her loving husband, Neil F. Patterson.
She leaves behind her son, Mark Patterson and wife, Betsy, her daughter, Marie Terese Johnston and husband, Mark, daughter, Marie Sandra Vigen and husband, Bill; and four grandchildren, Isaiah Carl Nelson, Sara Terese Vigen, Karen Marie Patterson, and Kaitlyn Faith Patterson.
A service will be held in the spring at Saint Hyacinth Cemetery in Westbrook.
