Oliver Cormier led Mt. Blue with 15 points as the Cougars earned a 51-42 win over Skowhegan in a Class A North boys basketball game Saturday in Skowhegan.
Cooper Abell and Evan Drake each added 10 points for the Cougars (4-1).
Jackson Newton paced Skowhegan (3-3) with 10 points.
BOYS HOCKEY
GREELY 5, GARDINER CO-OP 4: Jack Noone scored his fourth goal of the game 57 seconds into overtime, lifting the Rangers (2-3) to a win over Gardiner/Waterville/Winslow/Lawrence/Richmond/Wiscasset (0-2) at the Thomas College Ice Vault in Hallowell.
Noone also assisted on a goal by Coben Donnelly, but the Tigers rallied twice to force overtime. Maddox Lambert’s second goal of the game made it 4-4 with 10:41 left in regulation.
Cody Fournier also scored twice for the Gardiner co-op. Remington Lamoreau had two assists.
CAMDEN HILLS 6, HAMPDEN CO-OP 5: Joshua Hitchings scored the tying goal as the Windjammers (2-1) erased a three-goal deficit in the third period, then got the winner in overtime against Hampden/Ellsworth/MDI/Nokomis (1-2) at MidCoast Recreation Center in Rockport.
Bridger Wibeck recorded a hat trick and Flynn Lilly also found the back of the net for Camden Hills.
Wyatt Allen led the Broncos with two goals. Henry Armell and Brody Miller also scored.
