Ron Harper Jr. scored 29 points as the Maine Celtics rallied from a 16-point second-half deficit to defeat the Austin Spurs 123-114 on Sunday in Orlando, Florida and end the NBA G League Winter Showcase Tournament with a 1-1 record.
The tournament games count toward Maine’s regular-season record after the Celtics went 9-5 in the season-opening Tip-Off Tournament.
Maine’s Max Shulga set a career high with 27 points, 12 in the fourth quarter. Teammate Amari Williams added 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists and three blocks.
Trailing by 16 points in the third quarter, Maine turned 25 forced turnovers into 36 points in the fourth.
David Jones Garcia came off the bench to lead all scorers with 38 points and eight rebounds for Austin (0-2).
