James McNulty
HARTLAND – James McNulty, 59, of Hartland, Maine, passed away four years ago, Dec. 26, 2021, with his wife and dogs by his side after a short but heroic battle with glioblastoma.
Jim was a jack of all trades kind of guy, a father who taught his children how to be a friend, a gardener who talked to his plants because he swore they grew when he did, an animal lover who brought pets home all throughout his life, a music man who always needed something to listen to, a friend to call when you needed a ten minute laugh. Jim was a simple man who loved a good cup of coffee and a cigarette.
Jim kept his nose to the grindstone and was a proud employee of Prime Tanning for over 25 years. He was hard working man who never complained about a good days work – a provider through and through. Jim’s resilience is something to be admired for many life times.
Jim leaves behind his wife, Brenda; his four children, Christopher McNulty, Monica Parisey, Samantha Egeness, Gabrielle Li; 12 grandkids; one great grandchild; his siblings Tom and Dennis McNulty; and his mother, Grace. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert McNulty, and long time dog companions, Yetti and Louie.
If you’re reading this because you knew Jim, please remember him when you see the flowers start to bloom in the spring, when you hear the birds chirp, when you’re picking your first harvest of the growing season, or when you hear U2 on the radio – sin
