EagleMania

Check out the tribute band EagleMania at 8 p.m. Friday at Waterville Opera House, 1 Common St., Waterville.

The band has been performing for over a decade with a stunning five part harmony, virtuoso guitar work and ability to emulate the sound of The Eagles.

The show will feature The Eagles’ greatest hits, as well as select Don Henley, Glenn Frey and Joe Walsh solo efforts.

Boothbay Harbor Opera House is set to host The Boneheads’ album release event at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at 86 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.

The band consists of Bob Colwell, Scott Elliot, Dick Hollis and Steve Jones.

Northeast Motorsports Expo & Trade Show

The Northeast Motorsports Expo and Trade Show will open at 4:30 p.m. Friday and close at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Augusta Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta.

The expo will feature race cars, race teams, tracks, vendors, and racing organizations from across the Northeast with displays, demonstrations and opportunities for autographs.

The show also includes live studio‑style interviews with notable drivers, Driver of the Year awards, and appearances by groups like the Maine Vintage Race Car Association showcasing historic cars and memorabilia.

Pihcintu Multicultural Chorus

Waterville Opera House plans to host The Pihcintu Multicultural Chorus at 3 p.m. Saturday at 1 Common St., Waterville.

War-torn villages, refugee camps, famine, and political upheaval were once the daily reality for many of the young singers who would eventually find safety, companionship and harmony in the chorus. The healing power of music has helped these young women learn to trust, hope and laugh again.

Founded in Portland, the chorus brings together girls from across the globe to sing as one. Conceived by award-winning producer, musician and songwriter Con Fullam, Pihcintu unites voices from Cambodia, Congo, El Salvador, Egypt, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, Vietnam, the British West Indies and more, along with girls whose families have lived in Maine for generations.

Maine Agricultural Trades Show

The Augusta Civic Center is set to host the Maine Agricultural Trades Show from Tuesday to Thursday at 76 Community Drive.

The event organized by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry brings together farmers, foresters, food producers, agriculture businesses, students, service providers and policymakers for education, networking and commerce.

There will be a commercial exhibit hall, equipment and service vendors, commodity association meetings, and many workshops on production, business planning, grants and more.

Auditions: ‘The Crucible’

Lights Up Productions’ community theater group plans to hold auditions at 1 p.m. Sunday and 6 p.m. Monday for performers ages 12 and older for Arthur Miller’s drama, “The Crucible,” directed by Hannah Weston. Auditions will be held at the Skowhegan Opera House, 225 Water St. in Skowhegan.

This production will be staged March 6-8 and 13-15.

In the town of Salem, Massachusetts, in 1692, rumors of witchcraft caused the town to fall into mass hysteria as the townspeople started to accuse one another. The Salem witch trials began causing riots and anger. In this dark tale we see how one girl’s lies wreaked havoc on a Puritan town.
