Linda Roderick

BENTON – Linda Roderick, 79, passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Dec. 30, 2025. Linda was born Dec. 27, 1946, in Waterville, Maine, daughter of Carl and Dorothy Dixon.

Linda graduated from Lawrence High School, class of 1964. She was a quiet, steady presence, someone who didn’t need the spotlight to leave a mark. A skilled quilter and seamstress, Linda had a lifelong love for sewing. After purchasing her sewing machine, she spent countless hours creating clothing, including specialty pieces for the horse shows in Skowhegan, and took pride in the care and precision of her work.

She generously donated to various charities and enjoyed hosting events. She heavily participated in her monthly sewing club, bringing people together through creativity and companionship. Linda appreciated the simple things in life, she enjoyed going to camp, but was just a content staying home, surrounded by familiarity and comfort.

Professionally, Linda worked as a retail store manager at a few different local businesses, where she was known for being dependable, organized, and quietly capable.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Carl Dixon

She is survived by her husband Ronald Roderick, of 44 years; her brothers Arron and his wife Anna Packard Dixon, Mark Dixon, her sister Sharon Dixon-Cookson; her daughter Heidi Twitchell, her son Tyler Stevens; her granddaughter’s Vanessa Languet and Gabrielle Morales; and her great-grandson Jackson Morales.

Linda lived gently, loved sincerely, and left behind a legacy stitched together with kindness, patience, and quiet dedication.
