Claudette Roy
BENTON – Claudette Roy, 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Benton, Maine, on Dec. 29, 2025, with her daughter by her side. A longtime resident of the Fairfield and Benton communities, Claudette’s life was deeply rooted in the place she called home.
Claudette dedicated much of her working life to serving others. She began her career working in several convenience stores in Fairfield before joining MSAD 49, where she found her true calling. Over the course of 30 years with the school district, she became trusted friend and colleague before retiring after decades of dedicated service.
Her greatest pride and joy was always her family. Claudette is survived by her four children, Sherry and her husband Troy, Bryan, Samantha, and Kathy and her husband Parrish. She was a devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Adam, Ronald, Cassaundra, Amanda, Montana, Donna, and Jade. She cherished the time spent with each of them. Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren who brought light into her later years.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Kevin.
The family will be following Claudette’s finial wishes, there will be no services.
As her family was her whole world, they will have a gathering in the spring to lay her to rest.
To Mom/ Grammy/Nanny: We can no longer see you with our eyes, but we will feel you in
our hearts forever….
Claudette’s quiet strength and endearing love left a mark on those who knew her.
