Seven teams in the Varsity Maine boys basketball poll were ranked in the most recent poll three weeks ago, but only three are within two spots of their previous rankings. Unbeaten Camden Hills (8-0) moved from second to first place, Windham from fourth to third and Medomak Valley from ninth to seventh.

A couple other unbeatens jumped up three spots: Sanford (7-0) from fifth to second and York (8-0) from seventh to fourth. The Spartans are only four points behind Camden Hills and are tied with the Windjammers with four first-place votes.

Thornton Academy, Gardiner and Edward Little are ranked for the first time this season.
