Oliver Cormier’s 22-point performance paced Mt. Blue to a 64-42 boys basketball victory over Mt. Ararat on Thursday in Farmington.

The Cougars (6-3) had 10 players score, including Cooper Abell and Riley Hall, who finished nine points each.

Logan Zoulamis led the Eagles (2-7) with 14 points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 65, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 28: Levi Laverdiere dropped in 21 points for the Mustangs (5-3) in a win over the Panthers (2-8) in Monmouth.

Rory Foyt chipped in 12 points and Gavin Parsons scored 10 for Monmouth.

Mansuk Loboka paced NYA with nine points.

LEWISTON 70, MESSALONSKEE 44: A big second quarter propelled the Blue Devils (6-3) to a victory over the Eagles (1-8) in Lewiston.

Trailing 12-10 after one quarter, Lewiston took control with a 22-5 second period.

Grayson Bernard and Joao Samba led the way for the Blue Devils, scoring 18 and 17 points, respectively. Cohen Strachan hit four 3-pointers and finished with 13 points.

Jeziah Stone made four 3s and scored 16 points and Liam Allen added 12 points for Messalonskee.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

MT. ARARAT 78, MT. BLUE 20: Cali LeClair finished with 28 points to lead the Eagles (8-1) over the Cougars (0-9) at Topsham.

Jenna Jensen added 12 points, and Julianna Allen and Kayleigh Wagg each scored 10.

Reese Nye paced Mt. Blue with 12 points.

LEWISTON 47, MESSALONSKEE 38: Bailey Tardif-Mockler scored 20 points, Emma Madore added 16, and the Blue Devils (5-4) rallied in the second half to beat the Eagles (1-9) in Oakland.

Lewiston trailed 22-19 at halftime but took the lead with a 13-5 advantage in the third quarter.

Messalonskee got 17 points and 14 rebounds from Addie Hafford, and nine points and 13 rebounds from Leah Adams.

MADISON 43, WINTHROP 33: Jaelyn Rich scored seven of her nine points in the third quarter as the Bulldogs (4-5) went on a 14-3 run to beat the Ramblers (6-3) in Madison.

Jillian Linkletter led Madison with 10 points.

Grace Folsom scored nine points for Winthrop.

MT. ABRAM 67, BOOTHBAY 28: Stella Peterson, Abby McCarty and Jenna Osgood combined for 26 points during a 28-1 run in the second quarter as the Roadrunners (8-2) ran away from the Seahawks (4-4) in Boothbay Harbor.

Peterson finished with 24 points, Osgood scored 19, and McCarty got all of her points on three 3-pointers in the second quarter.

Tatum French led Boothbay with 10 points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 47, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 25: Kaitlyn Frost scored 15 points and Peyton McDonald added 11 for the Mustangs (3-5) in a win over the Panthers (1-8) at Yarmouth.

Daicey Spears and Avaya Roundy accounted for almost all of NYA’s scoring, with 12 and 11 points.
