MOM

How Thankful I am To Have Had You And Dad

For The Life I Am Living I Might Never Have Had

I’ve Never Forgotten You’ll See As You Read

I’ve Had All The Love Any One Son Would Need

The Way You And Dad Respected Each Other

The Times Dad Would Say “How I Love Your Mother”

How All Friends And Family Were Treated The Same

How Welcomed They Were Whenever They Came

How You Always Stressed How Lucky We’ve Been

“Don’t Ask For More” “Be Thankful” Amen

I Could List All You’ve Done And All You Have Touched

Too Many To Mention You’ve Given So Much

SO

I’ve Written A Poem I Hope You Can See

As You Look Down From Heaven On My Family And Me

You Took Me In Your Arms And Rocked Me To Sleep

Welcoming The Sandman As He Slowly Would Creep

Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ra “Sing It Please- Just Once More”

“Pleasant Dreams & Sleep Tight” As You Gently Closed The Door

This I Remember Your Voice – Soft and Low

My Feelings So Safe As To A Man I Would Grow

Showing By Example How Love Conquers All

How One Can Be A Winner Even When One Takes A Fall

And Then One Day Chick Came Along

Now Was The Time To Create Our Own Song

The Lyrics Were Different The Meanings The Same

And Thanks To You Mom How Easy They Came

So Many Lessons Learned From You And From Dad

And One Of Those Lessons Is Making Me Sad

Cause Now I Am Reaching For The Sandman Tonight

As I Sing Too Ra Loo Ra Loo Ra Pleasant Dreams & Sleep Tight

I’ll Now Close The Door

I Love You
Goodnight
