In 1776, taxation without representation was called tyranny. In 20th century Germany, the detention, incarceration and murder of Jews was called tyranny. In 21st century America, tyranny is the kidnapping of immigrants off the streets by armed unidentified masked agents and their incarceration in ICE prisons. This is done without the due process of law, which is guaranteed to all persons by the Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
Two hundred fifty years after the founding of our republic, the waging of war without the consent of the governed through our elected representatives is tantamount to tyranny. When will patriotic Americans wake up to these inconvenient facts and demand change and accountability?
