This letter is in response to Tux Turkel’s Dec. 26 op-ed, “Maine’s energy policy looks to be going up in smoke.”
The fake global warming narrative, which has been based on subsidy money (our money) feeding the pockets of power shysters and corrupt politicians from a past era should be allowed to dissolve into the annals of failed energy policy, pseudo-science and economic absurdity. Dense fuels rule. Physics and the laws of thermodynamics rule. Fossil fuels and dense power sources such as oil, gas and nuclear power modernity.
I am somewhat upset that Turkel, the energy shill of the Press Herald, is admitting that the “Green Dream” is going to its natural demise. But was it caused by one man who did something? No! Unless Maine and New England want to go broke and freeze during winters, President Trump was right.
Turkel, Maine politicians and their unreal, unaffordable dreams were the problem.
