I just read Mike Lowe’s op-ed, “In loving tribute to the best boy, Mookie,” in the Jan. 4 edition of your paper and I cried like a baby.
Everyone who’s had to have their beloved dog put to sleep knows how painful it is. It’s excruciating. I’ve had to do it twice and I still cry over them when I look at pictures.
Dog spelled backward is God and they’re truly a gift from God — without a doubt. My heart goes out to Mr. Lowe and his family. May God rest his precious soul. He was so beautiful.
