Nicolás Maduro is a bad guy. Benjamin Netanyahu — accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity — is too. There is an international arrest warrant out for Vladimir Putin, too, for abducting Ukrainian children. President Trump is also an indicted felon, convicted for his illegal scheme to corrupt the 2016 election.
Trump didn’t arrest Maduro and his wife out of urgency or necessity. This war is to pay off wealthy oil investors.
Also, being a billionaire is hard. When you’ve already paid off porn stars, shared secret interests with Jeffrey Epstein, Putin and Kim Jong Un; bought and sold everything there is to buy and sell (including at least one woman), hidden classified documents, fired, hired, terrorized, bankrupted, money laundered, grabbed, golfed, threatened, insulted, ripped apart the White House, renamed the Gulf of Mexico and the Kennedy Center, what’s left to do besides blow up fishermen and become a dictator of Venezuela?
Trump wasn’t elected to “run” Venezuela, Greenland or Cuba. Trump was not elected to overthrow our democracy and become a dictator of anywhere. Trump is supposed to be working for the people.
“When you’re a star,” Trump has said, “they let you do it. You can do anything.”
I’m angry. Republicans need to reel him in.
