John Butler Jr. scored 27 points, and the Wisconsin Herd halted the Maine Celtics’ five-game winning streak as they pulled away in the second half for a 113-98 NBA G League victory Friday night in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Kobe Stewart added 19 points and Stephen Thompson had 17 points and 10 assists for Wisconsin, which started the second half with a 21-10 run to open a 73-57 lead.
Both teams had six players in double figures. Kendall Brown led the Celtics with 19 points. Tosan Evbuomwan and Stefan Todorovic both finished with 17 points for Maine, which again played without leading scorer Ron Harper Jr..
