Deborah Suzanne Wentworth
JENNINGS, La. – Deborah Suzanne Wentworth passed away unexpectedly Jan. 3, 2026. She as born born Dec. 18, 1960, in Heidelberg, Germany, daughter of Lt. Colonel John Wentworth and Vera Wentworth.
The family made roots in West Gardiner, Maine after her father’s retirement from the military. Her family and friends affectionately called her Suzie. Suzie resided in Louisiana for most of her adult life and married Michael Verret.
Suzie was always a free spirit and lived life on her own terms. She loved animals and had a horse named Sugar growing up. She even had her own pet store, Animal Instincts, in Winthrop as a young adult. She especially loved dogs and owned many throughout the years.
Suzie was predeceased by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Mike Verret; brother, John Wentworth and sister, Kathy Hair.
