Richard Ralph “Dicky” Webber Jr.
PITTSFIELD – Richard Ralph “Dicky” Webber Jr, 69, of Pittsfield, formerly of Mount Vernon, died after a brief illness Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor surrounded by family.
Richard was born April 3, 1956 to Richard Ralph Webber and Sheila Mae Burnham. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and singing, working on small engines, and spending time with friends and family. At the age of 14 he began working at golf courses until two years ago.
He is survived by his long-term partner, Josephine Ridlon of Pittsfield; daughter, Josephine Winter, who he called “baby girl” and her wife Nicole of Monmouth, son, Richard Mitchell and his wife Debra of Waterville, son, Jeffrey Thompson and his wife Cassandra of Clinton; grandchildren Sonya Bachelder and her husband Colby of Winthrop, Acacia Tourtelotte and her partner Bruce Hall Jr. of Chesterville, Zachary Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Darrean Thompson, and Reese Thompson all of Waterville, Lena Thompson and Jace Reeves of Clinton, Kiyanna Painter and her husband Robert of Alabama; and his great-granddaughter, Ryleigh-Anne Hall of Chesterville. He is also survived by his brother, Randy Webber of Mount Vernon; his partner’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren he treated as his own, including Scarlett, who called him “Paw Paw”; and his two lifelong friends, Robert “Jerry” Ferguson of Farmingdale and Roy Twist of Mount Vernon.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his infant twin grandson; Damien Thompson.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
