I am writing to protest the actions of our elected officials. I am outraged to see those who are sworn to protect our country and its Constitution behaving in unconscionable ways. Examples of these behaviors include destruction of our country, ignoring the rule of law, working against all existing laws and lying about everything to protect themselves. When will they quit supporting the dictator? When will they take back their power? When will they remember that their job is to work for the good of our country — not pander to a demented and sick man?

Some of these elected people appear to want to behave legally, ethically and honestly. However, they cave to the demands of their misguided peers, who are doing evil things to help their wealthy friends — to the detriment of everyone else. When will this stop?

I want to ask these leaders what they are willing to do to protect this country from complete destruction. Why they are pandering to others’ despicable and unlawful demands? They must lead, instead of following the person pushing us into disaster.

I ask leaders who want to save our country to do what they know must be done. Everyone needs to think long and hard about how these actions are tearing apart the very fabric of this country.

With all my heart, I hope our leaders can find the strength to do what is honorable for our USA so we can actually celebrate our 250th anniversary.
