Fisher Tewksbury became Valley’s career scoring leader during the Cavaliers’ 58-49 win over Hall-Dale in a boys basketball contest Friday in Bingham.

Tewksbury entered the game needing nine points to become the program’s all-time leading scorer. He finished with 17. Levi Short added 15 and Harry Louis scored 13 for Valley (13-2), which is No. 1 in the Class S South Heal point standings.

Tayshaun Cleveland poured in a game-high 27 points for the Bulldogs (12-2), who are No. 1 in Class C South.

MT. BLUE 42, BREWER 39: Cooper Abell scored 12 of his game-high 17 points after halftime as the Cougars (9-5) beat the Witches (3-10) in Brewer.

Evan Drake contributed 12 points to Mt. Blue’s victory.

Cody Hews scored 12 points and Caleb Campbell added 11 for Brewer.

MADISON 70, TELSTAR 43: Jacob Linkletter recorded a double-double, and the Bulldogs (10-4) got off to a strong start and cruised to a Class D South victory over the Rebels (6-10) in Madison.

Linkletter scored 22 points, including five 3-pointers, and grabbed 11 rebounds. Eli Meader added 12 points and six boards, and Brayden Furbush and Davyn Nichols scored 10 points apiece for Madison, which led 25-9 after one quarter.

Jonathan Marshall led Telstar with 14 points, and Cooper Morgan finished with 12.

LEAVITT 73, OAK HILL 54: Darren Flagg drained seven 3-pointers and scored 25 points to pace the Hornets (10-4) in a win over the Raiders (7-7) in Wales.

Jacob Gibbs and Colin Schlobohm each scored 16 points for Leavitt.

Braden New led Oak Hill with 20 points, while Keeghan Morrissette finished with 12 and PJ Smith scored 10 points.

WINSLOW 43, NOKOMIS 33: Carter Calvo dropped in 18 points, while Noah Harding scored 12 as the Raiders (5-8) got past the Warriors (3-11) in Winslow.

Seth Bowden led Nokomis with 13 points.

SKOWHEGAN 65, OXFORD HILLS 60: Bryson Saucier scored 10 points in the first quarter as the River Hawks (7-7) jumped out to an eight-point lead and held on to beat Vikings (4-10) in Paris.

Saucier finished with 28 points for Skowhegan. Finn Donoghue and Carter Nadeau each added 11 points.

Cam Pulkkinen scored 26 points and Rowan Pulkkinen had 12 for Oxford Hills.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 78, ERSKINE ACADEMY 53: Micah Fagonde hit six 3-pointers and scored 21 points, leading the Panthers (11-3) to a win over the Eagles (11-3) in Waldoboro.

Kollin Dollin chipped in with 18 points and seven rebounds, and Mason Nguyen had 13 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Erskine was paced by Gavin Fanjoy with 20 points and Carter Ulmer with 12.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

VALLEY 75, HALL-DALE 34: Kirsten Bigelow hit four 3-pointers and poured in 26 points for the Cavaliers (14-1) in their victory over the Bulldogs (2-12) in Bingham.

Liana Hartwell Hartwell added 16 points and Delia Hill scored 10 for Valley.

Sierra Gibbons put up 22 points and Gabby Russell had 10 for Hall-Dale.

LEAVITT 44, OAK HILL 23: Gabby Smith led the Hornets’ (6-8) balanced attack with 13 points in a victory over the Raiders (9-5) in Turner.

Jordyn Boulay finished with 12 points and Brooke Boutaugh chipped in 11 for Leavitt.

Jillian Smith scored a game-high 15 points for Oak Hill.

MT. ABRAM 63, RICHMOND 20: Stella Peterson scored 16 points to lead the Roadrunners (12-3) to a win over the Bobcats (2-12) in Richmond.

Abby McCarty added 15 points and Jenna Osgood had 14 for Mt. Abram.

Kaelyn Brillant scored 10 points for Richmond.

MT. ARARAT 62, MESSALONSKEE 28: Cali LeClair sank eight 3-pointers and finished with 32 points as Mt. Ararat (13-1), ranked No. 3 in the Varsity Maine poll, picked up a road victory over Messalonskee (3-11).

Addie Hafford led the hosts with 14 points and eight rebounds.

WINTHROP 33, MONMOUTH ACADEMY 24: The Ramblers outscored the Mustangs 9-0 in the second quarter to earn a victory in this rivalry clash in Winthrop.

The teams scored the same number of points in each of the other three quarters.

Evelyn Mortimer paced Winthrop (8-6) with nine points. Kaitlyn Frost’s 15 points led Monmouth (6-7).
