Just who is Stephen Miller and why does he need to instill fear in this country? Being the architect of the deportation plans, Miller is the voice in Trump’s ear who recommends more jails and imprisonment. Is achieving a 1 million-person deportation at whatever costs his goal for 2026?
One has to assume that Miller’s vision is that all the “less than” people in this country are vile, evil scum and need to be shown the door. What prompted him to foster his own form of evil? Does he just have a raging hatred that needs to be fed? Does he see ICE as an extension of his power base? ICE is willing to act in whatever ways it chooses.
Is Miller a proponent of governing by fear? He has his own bodyguards assigned to protect him. Given his need for power and abuse of power, does he operate with absolute immunity?
If Miller’s vision is that absolute power rules absolutely, then it is safe to assume that the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution are meaningless. He has lived with those documents providing him with protection while he builds his power base. Where does the notion of “absolute power corrupts absolutely” factor into his vision of a Trump/Miller America — or is it Miller/Trump?
