In the not-too-distant past, Waterville conducted a spring sidewalk arts sale, bringing many local artists to the downtown area for a one- or two-day event.
It promoted local businesses and offered the community exposure to artistic projects created by area residents.
Why not bring back that pleasant spring event for all of us to enjoy in the downtown area? Our city leaders should wake up and initiate this again.
