MADISON – Keith J. Ouellette passed away on Jan. 13, 2026, at the age of 66, after a courageous battle with cancer. He attended Madison Memorial High School and after graduation, went on to serve in the United States Army as a mechanic.
Keith made his home in Madison and worked for many years at JK Wright Chevrolet in Pittsfield. Eventually, he decided it was time to run his own auto mechanic business; something he truly enjoyed. He worked right up until the very end.
Keith loved the thrill of an uncut dirt bike trail and the competitive games of ping pong and pool, where bragging rights earned him the title of “The Winningest Winner.”
Keith is survived by his partner, Joy, who has been by his side for 15 years with love and support; brothers, Brad Ouellette and wife Linda, Paul Ouellette and partner Angela Moen, and David Ouellette and wife Allison, sisters Linda Ouellette and Veronica Wright and husband Jim. He is also survived by his nephews Ryan, Steven, and Isaac, nieces Alicia, Renèe, Monica, Aliya, and Maranda; and great-nephews Abraham and Amos.
Keith was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Alice Ouellette.
A celebration of Keith’s life will be held in April, with details to follow at a later date.
